Communal Area – With several communal lounges and spacious sitting places with therapy and television rooms, a high quality person-centred care is guaranteed. We have a small sitting area at the entrance, with a large fish tank for our residents’ enjoyment. We have computer facilities in an internet café, along with a small stocked library. The building architecture is simple, especially for those with dementia, so that they do not get distressed and enjoy complete independence.

Medication – We provide comprehensive medication for our residents or allow them to administer their own medication routines, if desirable. Our staff is highly trained and has the expertise in administering the medication course effectively, and are updated regularly to keep up with the latest medication practices. All medication requests are served from preferred General Practitioner and reviews are requested from your General Practitioner on your behalf, to ensure best medication facilities.

Specialist Equipment – NECH provides specialist equipment such as hoists, lifts, baths, bed and mattresses for the comfort of our residents. When acquisition of specialist equipment, such as, for communication, is agreed in your care plan, we will cooperate with you in the most appropriate manner. We have made adequate arrangements for the service and maintenance of special equipment, as per the recommendations of the manufacturers, in order to retain the quality of our services.

Laundry and Dry Cleaning – The care home provides the facility of the laundry of personal clothing to the residents. The laundered clothes are normally returned within 24 hours. Residents are not charged additionally for laundry as this service is part of our weekly plan. Laundry items can also be dry cleaned through your key worker and carried out in the local community but this will be chargeable.
